Saturday, May 8th, 2010

@janetravers is currently compiling a recipe book of twitter recipes to raise money for UNICEF — a very worth while cause. To have you recipe considered for Jane’s book add the tag #tweettreat to your twicipes or DM her. Visit the tweet treats blog to find out more. We’re certainly looking forward to the book!

Cocktails on Twitter

Monday, May 3rd, 2010

Cocktails are popular Twicipes; they’re shortness, simplicity and few ingredients lend themselves to 140 character recipes. Sharing any recipe is a social activity but cocktails are particularly social as they are often consumed with friends in a relaxed environment.

In contrast my favourite cocktail is a Caparina, enjoyed alone in a sunny garden after a hard days work. My favourite Twitter mixologist is @HackaPhreaka.

Bits and Tips

Twicipes don’t have to be whole recipes. If you have a great cookery tip or a recipe for sauce, icing or snack — post a twicipe. You can’t say much in 140 charaters, so twicipes lend themselves to quick and easy tasty posts.

Welcome to the Twicipe Blog!

Thursday, March 18th, 2010

The twicipe blog is the place twicipe chefs and twicipe cooks can find out what Simon and the other twicipe contributers are working on. This will include the basics of how to fit a recipe into 140 characters and what makes a good twicipe; our favourite foods and what we’re cooking; basicly anything Twitter or food related.

More to come over the next couple of weeks. Send us feedback or ideas to and follow @twicipetweet.
